What Is a Floating Sauna?
A floating sauna is a wood-fired sauna built on a floating platform, so you can step out of the heat and straight into the lake for a natural cold plunge. In Finland, where the tradition comes from, it is called a saunalautta.
Valhallan Floating Saunas is Minnesota’s only mobile floating sauna. We deliver our wood-fired floating sauna to your dock anywhere in Minnesota, dispatched from the Brainerd and Leech Lake area, or you can book a session at our home base, Tri-Birches Resort in Hackensack, MN.
How it works

- We deliver to your dock. The floating sauna is brought to your lake and moored at your dock.
- Sweat, plunge, repeat. Up to 6 bathers heat up in real wood-fired löyly, then cool off in the lake.
